Meizu has always been very well known for their inexpensive endeavors, and the latest m3s model is just out in the market. Meizu m3s is a descendent of the Meizu M3 model with few updates like a fingerprint sensor on board for added security, and of course a lot of changes under the aluminum casing. Even after all these changes, the price remains very friendly. In the native Chinese market, Meizu m3s is offered for RMB 699 which equates to $109 for the rest of the world’s markets.
Most of the configuration parameters remain intact. The earlier Meizu m3 was released last April and the m3s variant is released on June 2016, the gap in between is so small that we shouldn’t even expect a major overhaul. However, the battery appears to be a larger unit, the jump from 2870 mAh to 3020 mAh should be a useful update. The CPU, OS, camera, display, and connectivity radios etc. remain all same.
Features in Brief
To put the overall configuration in brief, the Meizu m3s has a Mediatek 6750 CPU with 2GB of RAM in the 16GB ROM variant, or 3GB of RAM in the 32GB ROM variant. The cameras remain the same 13 MP rear with dual tone LED flashes and 5 MP front, and the display offers 16M colors through the 720×1280 pixels 5 inches panel.
